I’m sure by now you’ve heard about Z Bar Cattle Co. and their amazing meat and goods. If you haven’t, don’t worry, we will get to that. But, have you heard about the owner, Stephen Kirkland and his family?

Stephen and wife, Kristin, raise their cattle to be USDA verified All Natural, NHTC (non hormone treated cattle). They are trying to change people’s buying habits by giving options that are naturally raised and that they would feed their children. Their ranch is in Sunset, TX (about an hour away) where you can find people stopped on the road chatting with their neighbors and making front hood deals for cattle.

When talking with Stephen, I could tell this was more than just a business to him, it is truly a way of life and he lights up when talking about it. He’s great to have a conversation with and is truly passionate about his cattle and products.

Now, down to the meat of the story (see what I did there). Z Bar Cattle Co. has many beautiful cuts of meat ranging from beef, pork, poultry and fish. They offer fresh milk from Waco, cage free eggs, spices, sauces, desert mix and even margarita mix.

They have 2 locations, the newest addition here in Argyle by Snooty Pig off Country Club Rd. and a store in Keller. For recipes and other information, check out their website.
